Between March 8-10, 2011, AdSTM and NRC/OIP developed and staffed an International Regulatory Development Partnership (IRDP) Poster Exhibit at the 2011 Regulatory Information Conference (RIC). Sponsored by the NRC’s Office of International Programs, the IRDP assists countries with emerging nuclear power programs to develop regulatory agencies capable of licensing and regulatory oversight of new reactors. The IRDP poster, revised IRDP brochure, and IRDP website highlight the training modules, regulatory documents, and bi-lateral consulting that are provided by the IRDP to partner countries. The list of participating IRDP countries is growing rapidly. The poster exhibit was visited by a large and diverse group of domestic and international nuclear experts.
